Memories cut me like a knife
Like a needle through my heart
Like a target without a dart

Like a candle in the dark
Like flowers in the park
When it's time to part ways
Wish life, take a moment back

Even the sun seems to smile

Wish god could pause my life
with the remote from the sky

God! Why with her?
When I am there!
I know you are busy with others

To hold her close
